Electronic animal identification (id, chip scanner)
… Patented BioBond package — a porous polypropylene polymer sheath superimposed on RFID microchip implants to prevent movement of the microchip inside the animal’s body. Using patented BioBond shell results in increased retention of the implant. BioBond, promoting the development of fibrocytes and collagen glass fibers around the implant, the implant prevents movement within the body of the animal.
Destron Fearing — the discoverer and developer of the idea of animal identification method of implanting a microchip under the skin of it. Industry Destron Fearing animal identification has grown significantly since its inception. Electronic production line includes a number of microarrays, or «marks», portable scanners, scanners and stationary devices directly involved in the process of introducing a microchip under the skin of the animal (injector). Production company Destron Fearing is a huge part of the industry information system developed for special applications. Future expansion of (improved) products from Destron Fearing include read / write chips, and chips perceive temperature changes and new scanning systems that extend the capabilities of these products when integrated with control systems allowed.
Today barcode technology has opened a new way of identification, inventory and assessment of the goods. Drawing barcode labels on packaging quickly became an integral part of modern business, providing a solid foundation for the concept of automatic identification. However, the technology is limited by its barcode application within the range of possible reading of the bar code scanner. These reading systems can not function in different conditions, and the barcodes eventually become less readable.
Radio frequency identification (RFID) removes this limitation. RFID technology identifies an object (target) remotely, via radio and microarrays (basic media). Since RFID codes can be read without line of sight, or direct contact, RFID technology provides access to some objects that barcode technology can not identify.

A brief overview of electronic manufacturing lines
The basis of the technology of Destron Fearing is a private microchip comprising passive (inductively fed) radio technology, together with the corresponding scanning devices. Electronic microchips and related reading system information offered in several versions, each of which is adapted for use in different environments.
Microchips — tiny, passive electronic devices, ranging in size from 12 to 28 millimeters in length and 2.1 to 3.5 millimeters in diameter. The smallest chip — chip the size of a grain of rice. All Destron Fearing microchips manufactured in ISO 9002, where, during the manufacturing process, each chip individually inscribed and programmed is being done to preserve the unique, individual identification code (ten or fifteen of the sign). The microchip with an antenna placed in a sealed inert glass capsule.
The microchip embedded in the body of an animal using the ordinary injection. After implantation, the chip provides a unique identification number of the animal, which at any time can be checked with an electronic scanner (identifier). After the chip has been introduced into the body of the animal, it remains inactive until it will not have to file a weak signal on the request of the scanner. The fact that the scanner sends a low frequency signal chip with enough energy to the chip to send a response signal containing a unique code for positive animal identification. Using Destron microchip identification number allows the device to be permanently stored inside the animal, under the skin, where the chip can not be lost or altered. The microchip will function throughout the life of the animal, while not changing its identification number.
Microchips of Destron Fearing operating at a frequency of 134.2 kHz ISO (20 mm and 30 mm) have passed stringent tests carried out by the Joint Research Centre of the European Union in the town of Ypres, Italy, which allowed them to be part of the project Idea authorized the European Union to assess the safety of electronic identification of cattle.
Destron microchips are activated, and their identification codes are read by radio frequency signals generated by the scanning device. Scanners generate a magnetic field that is perceived by a microchip. Microchip uses energy from the field to feed itself and transmits the echo on the scanner, which converts it to an identification code of the microchip. The final alpha — numeric identification code is displayed on the video terminal and can be relayed (passed) through an interface to other equipment. Depending on the application, the identification number can provide information about the date of chipping animal or simply to identify it.
Small keypad, patch panel, or keys provide user control over the operating parameters of the scanner. Printed circuit board (PCB) in scanners Destron Fearing manufactured in ISO 9001.
All 134 MHz scanners are programmed to read information from any microarray relevant standards of the International Organization for Standardization.
Portable battery-powered scanners easily carried by hand. Portable scanners manufactured Destron, based on similar and different designs of electrical parameters advantageously.
